British company Ysmart has unveiled the unique and extremely compact MQ5X flashlight. This AA-sized flashlight turns on instantly by simply removing it from its magnetic keychain. It's powered by a rechargeable battery that supports wireless charging.
Measuring only 55 mm in length, the magnetic design makes it extremely convenient to use. Simply remove the cap to automatically turn on the flashlight. It's also moisture-resistant.
Powered by a 130 mAh battery, the flashlight has a battery life of up to 10 hours. It can be wirelessly charged in just 30 minutes using its proprietary USB Type-C docking station.
Three light modes are available: bright white (150 lumens), red (ideal for camping and nighttime hiking), or ultraviolet (ideal for inspecting banknotes and hidden labels). The light is available in aluminum or titanium.
The aluminum version is priced at $53 on Kickstarter and is expected to retail for $74. The titanium version will retail for $66. The first shipments are scheduled for January 2026.
