Huawei officially released a video celebrating 1024 Programmers' Day, titled "Gaining Exposure in the HarmonyOS Ecosystem, Far Exceeding Other Markets." The video sparked widespread discussion online. Interestingly, it wasn't the content itself, but the phone depicted in one frame, that sparked speculation that it could be the upcoming Huawei Mate 80 series.
The video reveals the phone retains the circular DECO lens, inheriting the Huawei Mate series' DNA, and adopts a crater-like transitional design. Most notably, a black shadow appears around the edge of the DECO lens, suggesting it could be the previously rumored cooling fan outlet. If this is indeed the Huawei Mate 80 series, it's quite unique. Will you like it?
Although Huawei hasn't teased the Mate 80 series yet, current developments suggest a release next month. First, Huawei announced the HarmonyOS 6 operating system on the afternoon of October 22nd, launching a public beta test for a wide range of devices, effectively laying the groundwork for the Mate 80 series' software and ecosystem. Secondly, Huawei announced that it will hold the Hongmeng Starlight Ceremony on November 28, which will be very grand. It is most likely that the new Mate80 series products will be released at the same time. Everyone may wish to look forward to it.
