According to official news, the Honor Magic 8 series officially went on sale at 10:08 AM on October 22, 2025. The series includes two models, the Honor Magic 8 and the Honor Magic 8 Pro. Both are powered by the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition mobile platform built on a 3nm process and equipped with MagicOS 10, a self-evolving AI-powered system. They are positioned in the high-end flagship market.

The Honor Magic 8 features a 6.58-inch flat OLED screen with a narrow 1.18mm bezel. It supports a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and 4320Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, achieving a peak brightness of 6000nits. It is covered with Super Rhino Glass for enhanced drop resistance. The rear triple-camera system consists of a 50-megapixel main camera (with OIS), a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens (3x optical zoom), and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The front camera is a 50-megapixel. The phone is equipped with a 7000mAh battery and supports 90W wired fast charging (full in 28 minutes) and 80W wireless fast charging. It weighs 205 grams and is 7.95mm thick. It supports IP68/IP69/IP69K dust and water resistance, 3D ultrasonic fingerprint recognition, 3D face recognition, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and infrared remote control.

The Honor Magic 8 Pro features a 6.71-inch LTPO quad-curved display with an adaptive refresh rate of 1-120Hz, 4320Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and 6000nits peak brightness. Its imaging system has been further upgraded, with a 50-megapixel primary camera with a 1-inch sensor, f/1.4-f/4.0 variable aperture, and OIS. The telephoto lens is a 200-megapixel periscope module with 5x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom. The ultra-wide-angle lens is 50 megapixels, and the front camera is a 50-megapixel primary camera with a 3D depth sensor. The Pro version has a 7200mAh battery and supports 120W wired fast charging and 80W wireless fast charging. It weighs 219 grams and is 8.32mm thick. It also supports dual 3D unlocking, IP68/IP69/IP69K protection, and is compatible with 23 global 5G bands.

In terms of price, the starting price of Honor Magic 8 is 4,499 yuan, and the starting price of Honor Magic 8 Pro is 5,699 yuan.
