A digital blogger recently revealed Huawei's new product release roadmap for this year and next. The highly anticipated Pura 90 series is expected to officially debut in April 2026, becoming Huawei's next-generation imaging flagship. According to the plan, Huawei will launch a series of new products from the end of 2025 to 2026, including the Mate 80 series, the foldable Mate X7 series, and the nova 15 series. The Pura 90 series will be the highlight of the first half of 2026.
According to CNMO, the Huawei Pura 90 series is expected to feature a brand-new imaging system, possibly a 1/1.28-inch ultra-large main camera, further enhancing telephoto capabilities and the overall shooting experience. Furthermore, the series is expected to be equipped with the next-generation Kirin flagship chip, utilizing more advanced technology and significantly improving performance and power consumption. Furthermore, the Pura 90 series may also support technologies such as a red maple primary color sensor upgrade and continuous optical zoom, and offer breakthrough battery life, potentially featuring a battery with a rated capacity exceeding 7000mAh.
Huawei's Pura series, an upgrade from the P series launched in 2024, has consistently focused on imaging technology innovation and high-end market competitiveness. If confirmed, the Pura 90 series will continue this strategy, combining the pure Hongmeng OS and AI capabilities to redefine the pinnacle of flagship phone imaging. However, Huawei has not yet officially confirmed this release plan, and the specific products and timing are subject to change.
In addition to mobile phones, the leaked new product plan also indicates that Huawei will update several notebooks in 2026, including the MateBook Fold 2, an iterative MateBook Pro model, and the 2026 MateBook E 2-in-1 notebook.
