On October 23rd, a digital blogger revealed sales figures for the iPhone 17 series in its first month: nearly 5.4 million units, approximately 135% of the previous generation.
Specifically, the share of each model in the first month's sales showed significant differences. The iPhone 17 accounted for approximately 20% of the series' sales, with a year-on-year increase of approximately 240%, making it the model with the most significant growth.
The iPhone 17 Pro accounted for approximately 30% of sales, compared to approximately 115% of the previous generation during the same period. While the growth rate was relatively small, it maintained a steady upward trend. The iPhone 17 Pro Max was the undisputed leader in the series, accounting for approximately 50% of sales, compared to approximately 130% of the previous generation during the same period.
The blogger also previously revealed sales figures for the iPhone 17 series in its first week. The series sold 1.5 million units in its first week, approximately 115% of the previous generation, demonstrating the series' rapid market acceptance from its initial launch.
Specifically for each model, the iPhone 17 accounted for approximately 20% of sales in its first week, with year-on-year sales reaching approximately 185% of the previous generation; the 17 Pro accounted for nearly 40%, with year-on-year sales reaching approximately 105% of the previous generation; and the 17 Pro Max accounted for over 40%, with year-on-year sales reaching approximately 110% of the previous generation. This shows that the sales share and growth rate of specific models did not change much between the first week and one month later.
